Therefore his triumph is a fake one and Farrington knows this. The physical power that Farrington is proud is questioned in the bar. After a night of drinking, an arm-wrestling contest is thought of and Farrington is called to play. Farrington pulled up his sleeve accordingly and showed his biceps muscle to the company (Joyce 95).
